Our Origin Story
Midgen was founded in 2023 with the launch of our own ambitious SaaS product: a smart platform designed to help writers craft novels effortlessly. Our signature tool, Novel Writer, required us to tackle profound AI and engineering challenges.
We gained critical expertise by fine-tuning open-source models and building sophisticated Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for contextually relevant content. This demanding experience laid the technical foundation for developing business-specific, scalable AI Agents today.
Along the way, we engineered complete systems end-to-end: frontend applications optimized for performance and UX, robust backend services, cloud-native architectures, and horizontal scalability.
The Evolution
The successful development and scaling of our SaaS product, including sophisticated AI writing assistants, the Article Writer, and the acclaimed Humanizer tool, required rigorous, high-level engineering.
